Racism Soup

RACISM Soup is an intimate, facilitated space where participants come together to engage in honest, reflective dialogue about racism—both within themselves and in the Kansas City community. Using a shared meal as a grounding ritual, this gathering invites people to slow down, listen deeply, and explore the layered “ingredients” of racism, including history, bias, power, and lived experience.

Designed to foster connection rather than performative conversation, RACISM Soup centers storytelling, accountability, and collective learning. Participants leave with greater self-awareness, strengthened relational understanding, and practical insights for how to interrupt racism in everyday life and work.

We will literally make soup! Each participant is asked to bring an ingredient to add to the pot. Bread and beverage are included. Location of event will be sent after registration is received.
